PUNTA GORDA, Fla. — A Florida prison inmate has died.

The News-Press reports that 22-year-old Brodrick Campbell was pronounced dead on Tuesday.

Corrections records show Campbell was being held at the Charlotte Correctional Institution in Punta Gorda. He was serving a three-year, three-month and nine-day sentence for a burglary and grand theft offense out of Lee County.

Officials didn’t immediately release details about the death.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement was investigating.
