In 2004, when I received the first copies of my book, “My War,” I automatically thought “Got to give a copy to Harry,” which I did. A little later, I met Harry on a street downtown. His first comment was: “For an engineer, you write pretty well.” He continued: “Would you like to join the community columnists?” I said I would and I did. For eight years, I enjoyed Harry’s tutorship. When Harry retired, I did also.
