ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police say a suspect who robbed a convenience store shot and wounded a store employee and a customer when the employee went outside to take a photo of the suspect’s car.

Police say the customer was shot in the neck and the employee in the legs Friday morning. Their conditions aren’t immediately available.

Officer Simon Drobik says the suspect reached out the passenger side of his car and fired multiple shots at the employee, hitting the employee and a male customer who was filling his own vehicle with gas.

Drobik says tore employees said that a female customer told employees that her child also was hit. Drobik says the woman drove off and police hadn’t immediately confirmed her account.
