Two arrested after search warrant served on County Road 500N

Two local residents were arrested after Bartholomew County’s Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team served a search warrant in the 4100 block of County Road 500N.

An investigation about the residence began after multiple complaints from the public about an unusual amount of traffic going in an out of the home and calls about shots fired there. Several theft and burglary investigations also led police to the home, police said.

Columbus Police Department SWAT team members served the search warrant at 4110 W. County Road 500N at 8 a.m. Thursday and arrested Jeremy D. Streeval, 32, of 211 N. Kyle St., Edinburgh and Debin Gabbard, 27, of 4110 W. County Road 500N, on multiple drug-related charges. Although the jail has the Edinburgh address which was provided by Streeval, deputies said he was actually living at the 4110 W. County Road 500N address.

Each was charged with:

  • Theft
  • Dealing in heroin
  • Dealing in marijuana
  • Dealing in methamphetamine
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of paraphernalia
  • Maintaining a common nuisance
