JUNEAU, Wis. — A Watertown man has been convicted of reckless homicide in Dodge County for supplying the heroin that killed a 42-year-old woman.
Prosecutors say Terence Jannke gave heroin to Gabriel Brandl and Holly Nehls in a park in Clyman in May 2016. Brandl then injected Nehls with the drug, causing her death. He was convicted of reckless homicide last November.
Under state law, anyone in the chain of delivering a controlled substance can be held accountable if a death occurs.
Jannke was also convicted of maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession with intent to deliver. Several witnesses took the stand in the four-day trial who testified they regularly bought drugs from Jannke at his mobile home in Watertown.
