BILOXI, Miss. — Biloxi Police and the Department of Marine Resources Marine Patrol are investigating after a body was found in the Tchoutacabouffa (CHEW-tuh-CUH-buff) River.

WLOX-TV reports just after 9 a.m. Saturday, investigators were called to an area known as “Hurricane Hole” where a body was found in the water.

It’s not clear yet if any foul play was involved.

Police have not indicated whether the deceased was male or female.
