PEACHAM, Vt. — Several towns in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom are welcoming fall this week with family oriented festivals.

The Caledonian-Record reports Peacham and Barnet celebrated autumn on Thursday and Friday.

Visitors of Peacham’s Fall Foliage enjoyed a bus tour sponsored by the town’s historical society. A ghost walk that featured past town teachers was also included in the tour. Money from the ghost walk benefits helps fund a scholarship.

Patrons enjoyed harp music and refreshments after participating in the tour. Later, festival goers were treated to a spaghetti dinner.

Groton and Marshfield will host fall festival celebrations on Saturday and Sunday.
