LACEY, Wash. — Police were investigating reports of a shooting on a residential street in Lacey, Washington.

The Olympian reports (http://bit.ly/2gjDVeQ ) that police responded to the home just after 6 a.m. Saturday after receiving reports of gunshots.

Sgt. Jaime Newcomb says they found a man who lives at the home injured. They also found shell casings outside the home.

Police later received a call from officers in Pierce County about two people who turned up at a hospital there with gunshot wounds.

Police linked those people to the incident in Lacey.

Newcomb says police have ascertained that the people involved knew each other and there was some sort of physical disturbance that started in the home and spilled out into the street.
