White River Dental will have an open house and ribbon-cutting Wednesday at its new dental office, 2380 Merchants Mile in Columbus.
The open house will run from 4 to 7 p.m., including a 4:30 p.m. ribbon-cutting facilitated by the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce.
“We focused this building off our patient needs and wants,” said Dr. Aaron Strickland, DDS, who owns the practice.
The 7,100-square-foot dental facility includes four hygiene rooms, a dedicated surgery room, a dedicated lab and a play zone for kids that continuously plays children’s movies. Outside, the new location will provide parking for 65 vehicles.

White River Dental — open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays — has been rapidly expanding and is looking to grow further as it moves into the new facility. The business has added three dentists to its staff — Drs. Rachel Aziz, DDS; William Johnson, DDS; and Gregory Velligan, DDS — and plans to add more.
White River Dental provides both cosmetic and general dentistry.
