ALBANY, N.Y. — Police say a 27-year-old man has been shot to death in upstate New York.

Albany police spokesman Steve Smith says the man appeared to have been shot multiple times around 1 p.m. Sunday. Smith says the victim managed to run to the next street over before collapsing and dying.

Responding police found the man dead at the scene.

Officials have not released the identity of the victim and are continuing to investigate.
