FORT DODGE, Iowa — An inmate has been listed as escaped from the state work release facility in Fort Dodge.

The Iowa Corrections Department said in a news release Tuesday that 40-year-old Andrew Nielsen didn’t report back to the facility Monday night. He’d been transferred there on July 20.

The department says Nielsen’s been serving time for burglary in Webster County and a drug-related crime in Fayette County.
