Irvin E. ‘Bill’ Bozarth

CROTHERSVILLE

Irvin E. “Bill” Bozarth, 88, of Crothersville, passed away October 7, 2017.

He was born July 21, 1929 in Medora to the late William and Gertrude Darkis Bozarth.

Bill attended school in Medora and served his country in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific during World War II.

Bill married Betty L. Gray Lane on September 11, 2002.

He worked as an electronic technician for the State of Indiana for 25 years, retiring in 1996.

Bill was member of VFW Post No. 1083 and American Legion Post No. 925.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hague Funeral Home in Medora with funeral services Friday at 11 a.m.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Betty L. Bozarth; three sons, Stephen E. Bozarth, (Billie Jean), Darrell E. Bozarth (Linda) and William J. Bozarth (Rebecca); stepson, Bobby J. Lane (Ruth Ann); brother, James Hamilton (Betty); 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

His daughter, Carla Bozarth; son, Robert Bozarth; stepdaughter, Brenda Watson; and granddaughter, Stephanie, preceded him in death.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association or to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Final care and arrangements are entrusted to Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel, Indianapolis.
