EDINBURGH
Kevin D. Perkins, 60, of Edinburgh, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017, at Franciscan Hospice House, in Indianapolis.
He was born on December 7, 1956, in Columbus, to David and Ethel (Olmstead) Perkins.
Kevin graduated from Columbus East High School in 1975 and married the love of his life, Kay Pruitt, on May 28, 1976, in Taylorsville.
Kevin enjoyed fishing and baseball. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.
Kevin owned Perkins Construction.
Kevin is survived by his children, Garan (Nichole) Perkins of Edinburgh and Rachel (Ryan) Greene of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sisters, Pamela Gerber and Joyce Padgett, both of Florida; and two grandchildren, Aria and Lyla Perkins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Perkins; his parents, David and Ethel Perkins; and a sister, Deborah Perkins.
Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel.
