Ivy Tech Community College recently won 18 awards at the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations Professionals’ regional conference in Davenport, Iowa.

The college received five gold medals, seven silver medals and six bronze medals for a variety of marketing projects and initiatives for the 2016-17 academic year.

Ivy Tech has earned more than 250 awards from the council in recent years, in addition to several national awards for its successful branding and marketing campaigns, according to a statement.

The Columbus campus won a gold award for the flier (single or series) category; silver in the magazine category; silver in the notes/cards/invitations (single or series) category.

Franciscan Physician Network recently opened a new medical office complex.

Columbus Specialty Center, 4035 Mimosa Drive, includes the local offices of Indiana Heart Physicians, Diabetes and Endocrinology Specialists and Gynecologic Oncology Specialists. Cardiac testing and imaging (X-ray) services are also housed at the center.

Old National Bank has donated $10,000 to the Schneck Foundation’s “Restore Hope. Restore Life” project.

The foundation works to benefit the lives of cancer patients going through treatment and rehabilitation.
