SANTA ANA, Calif. — A 26-year-old man has been charged with murder and attempted murder for allegedly killing two people, including his father, and wounding two others at an upscale home in Southern California.

Luke Ferguson was arrested last Friday near Los Angeles International Airport following a short chase.

The arrest came about 45 miles from Aliso Viejo, where a man and woman were found shot to death a day earlier at a home where Ferguson was living.

The victims are identified as 59-year-old Douglas Ferguson and his girlfriend, 51-year-old Lisa Cosenza. Two other men were wounded. A neighbor says he heard arguing and then gunshots.

The Orange County Register reports Luke Ferguson was charged Tuesday with two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder. It wasn’t immediately known if he has an attorney.
