Mission plans luncheon for local agencies

New Song Mission in Freetown is hosting a luncheon at noon Friday for organizations and agencies that serve at-risk children and youth.

New Song is supported by a range of churches and other groups in Bartholomew County.

Organizers said the gathering is an opportunity to discover firsthand how people who are concerned about the lives of at-risk kids can refer their parents and guardians to New Song Mission.

“If your agency or organization supports or serves at-risk kids, we welcome you to join us on campus,” said Bob Schloss, executive director of New Song. “We are very excited to share with community partners what God has built through hundreds of volunteers and financial supporters.”

A tour of the 100-acre Brown County campus at 7202 Keith Donaldson Road will be followed by a warm bowl of chili and the chance to meet the New Song team and to hear about how children can be referred to the ministry.
