Football sectional action gets underway tonight in Classes A through 5A. Class 6A has this week off and will begin Oct. 27.
Here are the local teams playing in sectional openers tonight:
Class 5A: Columbus East (8-1) at Seymour (4-5), 7 p.m.
Class 4A: Franklin County (5-4) at Jennings County (2-7), 7 p.m.
Class 3A: Brown County (4-5) at Greencastle (5-4), 7 p.m.
Class A: South Decatur (4-5) at Edinburgh (1-8), 7 p.m.
In Class 6A, Columbus North will host Jeffersonville in the sectional semifinals at 7 p.m. Oct. 27. Sectional finals in all classes will be Nov. 3.
