SPENCER

Irene Rachel Dailey Percifield, 99, of Spencer, died Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Owen Valley Health Campus.

She was a member of Columbus First Church of the Nazarene. Irene enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, beadwork, and painting.

Born on May 4, 1918 in Gas City, Irene was the daughter of Uriah and Flora Gore Dailey. She married Donald Edward Percifield on June 14, 1941 and he preceded her in death in 1988.

Survivors include granddaughters, Paige (Mark) Elliott of Spencer, Brooke Percifield of Bloomington, and Renata (Gabe) Zelaya of Bloomington; great-grandchildren, Olivia Elliott of Spencer, and Raegan and Foster Zelaya, both of Bloomington; siblings, Marian Bolinger of Cleveland, OH, Janet Bense of Hope, Dale (Esther) Dailey of Hope, Alva (Carol) Dailey of Hope; daughter-in-law, Sandy Percifield of Spencer; sister-in-law, Nora Dailey of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Larry Percifield; and siblings, Clyde, Clarence, Homer, Harold, Ernest, and Earl Dailey, and Dorothy Whittington.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Hope Moravian Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
