COLUMBUS
Mary K. Daley, 76, of Columbus, died at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017 at her residence.
Mary was born March 18, 1941, in Glasgow, Kentucky, the daughter of James and Estes Luicille Galloway Coomer.
She cherished the time spent with family and friends. Mary also enjoyed camping and playing bingo. She was a member of the Columbus Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge No. 741 and the Columbus Moose Lodge No. 398.
Mary is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gary; children, James Gassaway of Taylorsville, Johnny (Robin) Gassaway of Shelby County, Jeff (Sandy) Gassaway, Donna Dow, both of Columbus; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, J.T. Coomer of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation is planned. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
