NORTH VERNON
Gary Rex Lentz, 65, of North Vernon, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017.
He was born on November 5, 1951, the son of Bobby and Betty (Malone) Lentz.
Gary is survived by his wife, Patricia Lentz; his children, Keith Lentz, Amy Stanton, Kristopher Lentz; Randy Hamond; his father, Bobby Lentz; sisters Dana Lentz and Lana Porter; grandchildren, Jonathan, Mason, Brook, Brock, Kelsey, Alexcia, Connor, Shelby, Payton, Parker and Paxton; step-grandchildren, Taylor, Haley, Brayton, Jewel, Faith and Hank; great-grandchildren, Brentley, Zoe and Riley; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in passing by his beloved mother, Betty Lentz.
Gary retired after 30 years with Cummins Engine Co.
He was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Indianapolis.
Gary loved his family, his dogs, music and NASCAR.
A service will be conducted on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from noon until the service time at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
