Centra Credit Union recently donated $7,500 to assist two organizations that support children.
Columbus-based Foundation For Youth received $5,000, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bartholomew County received $2,500 on Monday, according to a news release.
The donation to Foundation For Youth will help ensure that finances are not a barrier for families to send children to FFY. The donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters is to help the organization continue providing one-to-one relationships with children facing adversity.

Centra awarded 40 grants of $2,500, but some organizations received multiple grants, said Jenni Carr, Centra Credit Union community involvement officer. FFY received two grants.
“There are so many phenomenal organizations in Columbus, and we are proud to support them by giving back this year,” Carr said.
