Columbus native ranked 6th on USA Swimming list
Columbus native Michael Brinegar is ranked No. 6 on USA Swimming’s 18-and-under World 100 list.
Brinegar, who swims for the Mission Viejo (California) Nadadores club team, is the No. 5-ranked 18-and-under swimmer in the world for the 1,500-meter freestyle. He has committed to Indiana University.
Indianapolis Lutheran ousts South Decatur
South Decatur was within 7-6 after the first quarter Friday night, but Indianapolis Lutheran pulled away for a 55-12 sectional semifinal victory.
Devon Martin carried 17 times for 52 yards and a touchdown for the Cougars (5-6).
