Edinburgh man accused of battering pregnant girlfriend

Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies arrested an Edinburgh man after he was accused of battering his pregnant girlfriend and stealing her medication.

Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Deputy Kris Weisner was sent to a report of domestic battery at 13500 N. U.S. 31 in Edinburgh at 11:23 p.m. Saturday, deputies said.

The victim, a pregnant female, said that her boyfriend, Logan Wolfe, 29, who lives at the Edinburgh address, had stolen some of her pills and the two had argued, deputies said.

The argument escalated and he shoved her to the ground before leaving the residence, deputies said.

The woman was transported to Columbus Regional Hospital for treatment, deputies said.

Wolfe checked himself into the emergency room where he was treated and released and then arrested on preliminary charges of felony domestic battery on a pregnant female and theft of medication.
