HOPE
Patrick J. Foley, 51, of Hope, passed away October 27, 2017.
Pat was born March 13, 1966, in Batesville, the son of Paul D. and Doris M. Laker Foley.
He married Tina M. Kriete on November 6, 1987.
Pat worked for 15 years as a welder at Arvin Inc., and enjoyed collecting what his family lovingly refers to as “junk and Barbie dolls.”
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
You could tell if Pat really liked you if you found he gave you a VERY hard time. Family and friends would return his love by jokingly calling him an “a**hole” in return. If that happened, you knew you were part of his family.
In Pat’s words, a “get-to-gather” will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017, at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home, 3855 25th Street, Columbus. Friends and family may visit on Friday from 5 p.m. until that time.
Survivors include his wife, Tina; a son, Paul D. Foley of Hope; a daughter, Geannie M. Foley of Hope; a granddaughter, Isabelle Marie Foley; his mother, Doris M. Foley of Batesville; a sister, Glenda (John) Riehle of Batesville; brothers, Steven L. Foley of Deerfield, Florida, Timothy P. Foley of Batesville, and Rick J. Foley of Greensburg.
He was preceded in death by his father.
