SALT LAKE CITY — A Utah man is accused of fatally shooting another man who cut his face with a razor blade.

Authorities say they were called to a scene on Sunday where a man, 30-year-old Colby Scott Barney, was shot twice and died.

They say a witness identified 28-year-old Davis County resident Robert William Lundin as the shooter, and said he fled the scene. But Lundin later returned to the house where the shooting happened while police were investigating. He was arrested on Monday and had to receive 28 stitches for the cut on his face.

A witness says Barney cut Lundin’s face during an altercation, and then backed into a corner with his hands up before Lundin grabbed a gun and shot.

A 1-year-old child was in the house during the incident.
