WILMINGTON, Del. — A teenager has been fatally shot in Delaware.

In a news release, Wilmington police say officers found 18-year-old Justin McDermott on a sidewalk early Thursday after he had been shot in the head. The victim died a short time later.

Authorities did not release any information about a possible suspect in the slaying.
