Lisa R. Hurt, 42, of Columbus, passed from this life at 10:57 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at I.U. Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Rob Hurt officiating.
Family and friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. to time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to I.U. Health University Hospital, Intensive Care Unit or I.U. Simon Cancer Center.

Lisa was born, August 19, 1975 in Columbus. She was the daughter of Timothy “Bo” R. Hurt Sr. and Peggy A. Doty Hurt.
Survivors include her parents, Timothy “Bo” and Peggy Hurt of Columbus; her husband of 22 years, William “BJ” Sheckles of Columbus; sons, Joshua Hurt, William Sheckles, Austin Sheckles and Kyle Sheckles, all of Columbus; a brother, Timothy “Burt” R. (Myra) Hurt Jr. of Columbus; a grandson, Jace Hurt; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
