Pittsford Fire Chief Tom Hooker says the call came early Saturday with a report that someone was trapped in the house. The Rutland Herald reports that no person was trapped in the house — but the home suffered extensive damage to its roof and is considered a total loss.

Hooker says also lost was the homeowner’s collection of BMW motorcycles were also lost in the fire.
