WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — One man died and another was hurt in a shooting in a vehicle in North Carolina.

Winston-Salem Police Lt. Eric Montgomery said in a news release that officers were called to a shooting around 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Montgomery 20-year-old Leon Denard Conrad Jr. died at the scene.

Twenty-year-old Rechard Sylvester Hall was wounded. Hall was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for treatment.

Montgomery said both men were in the vehicle when they were shot. The officer said the shooter or shooters left in a vehicle.
