Aeretta LaVonne Venters Troutman, 72, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at her residence.

She was born April 10, 1945 in Greensburg. She was the daughter of Luther and Nina G. (Dinn) Venters.

She is survived by her children, Cindy (Brien) Lagle from Loogootee, Nikki (Andy) Tibbs of Columbus, Lisa (Gary) White of Columbus, Bob (Tina) Clark of Washington, Indiana and Rhonda (Jeremy) Stewart of Greenfield; a sister, Kathy “Katy-Did” Brown of Greensburg, a brother, Luther J. Venters of Shoals; grandchildren, Ben Lindsey, Brandon Lindsey, Bruno Benetti, Brien F. Lagle, Brittany Creamer, Trey Creamer, Dane Tibbs, Ellie Tibbs, Megan White, Austin White, Ashlyn White, Gabrielle Patrick, Kylee Stewart, Kaylen Stewart, Robert L. Clark, Natasha Smith, and Austin Roland; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of the Waynesburg Christian Church in Westport.

She retired from Cummins Engine Co. in 2008.

She had a strong faith in God. She loved her family and shopping.

A funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 by the Revs. David Burnett and Jim Pursley at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 3 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
