COLUMBUS
Michael E. Grable, 68, of Columbus, died Friday, November 10, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital I.C.U.
He was born in Columbus on June 2, 1949 to Lewis Carl Grable Sr. and Mary Louise Boegaholz Grable.
After serving in the Navy, he worked for Cummins Engine Co., retiring after 34 years.
He married Beverly C. Eden Arnholt October 2, 1987; she survives.
Also surviving are children, Kelly (Richard) Kellems, Michael L. Grable and Jamie B. Arnholt; brothers, Max (Joyce) Morris of San Diego, California, Lewis (Sherrie) Grable, Jr. of Columbus and Jeff (Marcella) Grable of Katy, Texas; sister, Bonnie Rogers of Columbus; and granddaughters, Lexia Capes and Alivia Kellems.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Dan Rogers; and nephew, Nathan Rogers.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street with the Rev. Jimmy Collins officiating. Visitation from noon to service time Saturday. Inurnment will be private. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-reed.com.
