Theme park expo offers preview of what's new for 2018

ORLANDO, Fla. — Ever wonder where SeaWorld or Six Flags theme parks go when searching for the next thrill ride?

The annual International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo, in Orlando this week, is where cutting-edge amusement park concepts are bought and sold each year.

A record 37,000 attendees are getting a chance to see what 1,000 vendors have to offer at the expo.

New rides announced include a dizzying coaster called the Time Traveler debuting at Silver Dollar City in Missouri, and a twisting raft ride, Well Infinity Falls, heading to SeaWorld in Orlando.

The Skywarp roller coaster, with two cars speeding around each other on double loops, heads to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in California .
