COLUMBUS
Virginia Foltz-Stafford, 91, of Columbus, passed away peacefully at 2:03 p.m. Monday, November 13, 2017 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient facility.
Virginia was born June 13, 1926, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Robert B. and Mabel L. Humphrey Foltz. She married James Stafford on June 27, 1948 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Virginia graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1943 and later worked as an executive secretary at P.R. Mallorys.
Mrs. Stafford is survived by her husband of over 69 years, Jim; daughter, Rita (Gary) Montgomery of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Bernie (Ladonna) Foltz of Atlanta, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Cinda Baldwin.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street. Family and friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Garland Brook Mausoleum.
