Columbus’ Christmas season celebration gets lit with a mix of seasonal events Dec. 2. First comes the free Festival of Lights Christmas Village slated from 1 to 6 p.m. at The Commons, 300 Washington St. downtown, followed by the Festival of Lights Parade at 6 p.m., with the QMIX Christmas Musical Fireworks beginning at about 7:15 p.m., according to organizers. The three events combined generally draw several thousand people.
Nobody covers Columbus, Indiana and the surrounding areas like The Republic.
