LYNN, Mass. — A Massachusetts man has been sentenced to 16 to 20 years in state prison in connection with a deadly shooting last year.

The Gloucester Times reports that 30-year-old Sean Chandler was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to manslaughter in the death of 38-year-old Donald Yancy.

Yancy was found dead of a gunshot wound at a Lynn apartment on Oct. 28, 2016. Prosecutors say Chandler shot him in the head after a dispute during a house party.

Chandler ran from the scene and was arrested days later after a manhunt by state and local police.
