HANOVER, N.H. — Jared Gerbino ran for a career-high 202 yards and four touchdowns, including the clinching score with no time left, as Dartmouth beat Princeton 54-44 in a regular season closer for both teams on Saturday.

Gerbino gave Dartmouth the lead for good, 47-44, on a 2-yard run with no time remaining. Princeton fumbled on the ensuing kickoff and Dartmouth’s Darius George recovered and took it 10 yards for the final score.

Jack Heneghan threw for 208 yards and a touchdown for the Big Green (8-2, 5-2). David Smith kicked two field goals.

Dartmouth trailed 27-20 at the beginning of the fourth quarter when Gerbino ran a yard for a score to make it 27-all. The teams traded scoring — and the lead — all through the quarter and Heneghan hit Hunter Hagdorn for a 49-yard touchdown and a 41-37 edge with 5:18 to play.

Chad Kanoff threw for a career-best 444 yards and three touchdowns for the Tigers (5-5, 2-5).
