GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police responding to a break-in call in North Carolina found an unresponsive man in a yard nearby.

Greensboro police told local media that officers were called to a break-in around 5:15 a.m. Monday. Police said the man ran when he was confronted by those living in the home.

Officers chased the suspect and arrested him and found another man unresponsive nearby.

Paramedics were unable to revive the second man.

The man’s name has not been released. His body has been sent to the North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.

Police are trying to determine if the man’s death was related to the break-in suspect.
