Church announces preK openings

First Presbyterian Church in Columbus has four openings in its prekindergarten program. It is offered from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday with tuition costing $260 a month.

Students must have turned age 4 by Aug. 1, 2017, to be considered for the program.

Applications can be found on the church’s website at fpccolumbus.org and will be accepted until the four spots are filled.

Preschool open house set in Hope

HOPE — An open house for parents to receive information about preschool offerings will be 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 28 at the Hope Elementary School gym, 9575 N. State Road 9.

Information about Morning Star (Hope Moravian), Kids of Hope Preschool (Community Center), North Star Montessori, Fairlawn Preschool, Little Lambs Preschool, St. Paul Lutheran Preschool and First Presbyterian Preschool will be available at the event.

Refreshments and snacks will be available and families are encouraged to bring their children as a winter craft activity and a bounce house will be offered.

Hope Elementary School is not affiliated with any of the preschools, organizers said.
