ST. LOUIS — Three Thanksgiving Day killings in St. Louis have brought this year’s homicide total to 188, matching the number recorded in both 2016 and 2017.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that a man in his 20s was found dead after 11 a.m. after being shot multiple times in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood. Less than a mile away, a man was found dead with head trauma just before 5 p.m., and foul play is suspected.

A third victim died of a gunshot wound to the head about 7:30 p.m. in the Carondelet neighborhood.

St. Louis had 120 homicides in 2013, 159 in 2014 before reaching 188 in both 2015 and 2016.
