Mrs. Beatrice A. VonDielingen, 94, of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at Lutheran Community Home. She was born on June 22, 1923, in Seymour, to the late Willard F. and Adella (Rust) Newkirk. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. On November 23, 1947, she married Clifford E. VonDielingen. She was a homemaker, seamstress for Greemann’s Furniture, and had served 25 years as a financial secretary for Immanuel Lutheran Church. She loved her flowers, gardening, word search, crossword puzzles and reading. She enjoyed quilting so much that she made personalized quilts for each of her daughters-in-law and grandchildren. She was a member of Ladies Aid #3 Immanuel Guild.

She is survived by her husband; children, Dennis (Linda) VonDielingen, Don (LeeAnn) VonDielingen, and Dale (Tammy) VonDielingen; grandchildren, Michael VonDielingen, Amy VonDielingen, Carrie Henley, Megan (Justin) Hartman, Morgan (Kyle) Kurtz, Marlee (Kyle) Davis, Morgan (Adam) Pyle and Jordan (Mark) Spieker; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul (Ruth Ann) Newkirk; and sister, Carol (Nick) Weil.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Walter F. “Bud” Newkirk; and sister, Wilma Wessel.

Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Monday, November 27 at 11 am with the Revs. Ralph Blomenberg, Philip Bloch and Jimmy Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Sunday from 4-8 pm and on Monday at the church from 10 am until time of service.
