PORTLAND, Ore. — Police say someone opened fire on a home in north Portland, causing minor injuries to one person.

KATU-TV reports officers responded to the Bridgeton neighborhood after a suspect fired multiple gunshots at the caller’s house on Friday night.

Police say bullets struck the front door of the house. One person was injured but did not need medical treatment.

Police are searching for the suspect and say they do not believe the public was at immediate risk.

Police ask that anyone with information on the shooting to contact authorities.
