Denise Pence, Columbus, who owns the Exit 76 Antique Mall in Edinburgh, has been reappointed to the Indiana Tourism Council by Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb. Her term expires on Oct. 31, 2019.

The local Columbus JD Byrider dealership recently received a 2017 President’s Award at an annual company award ceremony in Florida.

The dealership received the distinction for being in the top 10 percent of all locations in the country, according to sales volume, service, account management and profitability. The location is ranked 11th out of 160 locations in the country, the company said in a news release.

The dealership, at 2645 N. National Road, has been in Columbus for 25 years. This is the first year it has received the award, according to general manager Mike Patton.
