DILLON, S.C. — Police say they are looking for a suspect after a South Carolina teen was shot to death over the weekend.

Local media reported the shooting happened Saturday evening in Dillon. The teen was taken to a hospital where he died.

Coroner Donnie Grimsley said the victim was 17-year-old Shaheem Dashawn Lyons of Dillon. Grimsley has ordered an autopsy as part of the investigation.

Dillon Police Chief David Lane says they have one suspect in mind but no arrests have been made yet.
