Jets fall to state-ranked Eagles

OSGOOD — Class A No. 3 Jac-Cen-Del was too much for Hauser on Tuesday night in a 70-28 girls basketball victory.

Jada Asher scored 13 of 14 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Jets (1-3). Hauser was just 10 for 18 from the free-throw line.

“The things that you have to well when you’re on the road against a top-five team, we didn’t do,” Hauser coach Brad Hamilton said. “I think the biggest disappointing thing is, we didn’t bring the same level of intensity on defense that we have been. We have a lot to work on, still.”

The Jets did grab 17 offensive rebounds. Taylor Henderson had 10 total rebounds, while Sarah Tedder added nine and Mykenzie Ault had seven.
