RICHMOND, Va. — Police say a suspect in the killing of two men in Virginia last month has been arrested by authorities in North Carolina.

Richmond police say 40-year-old Dominique D. Brockenbrough was captured Monday afternoon by members of Vance County Sheriff’s Department and U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Brockenbrough was wanted in the Oct. 8 shootings of 25-year-old Oscar W. Lewis II and 29-year-old Deonte M. Bullock. He is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, aggravated malicious wounding, and gun crimes.

It was not immediately clear whether Brockenbrough has a lawyer.
