Miller led the Olympians with 18 carries for 132 yards and three touchdowns in Friday’s 42-28 win against Kokomo in the Class 5A state final.

His performance last week: “I felt pretty good. It was one of the best games I had. I just put it all out there for my team.”

Do you do anything special to prepare? “I just listen to music and spend time with my teammates before the game.”

Favorite drink: “Lemonade”

Favorite food: “Barbecued ribs”

Favorite book: “The Great Gatsby”

Favorite class: “English”

Role model: “As a kid, I always looked up to Peyton Manning, the way he carries himself.”

Best advice: “No matter what anybody says, don’t let anybody tell you you can’t do something. If you put your heart to it, you can do it.”

Athletics goal: “To play college football”

If you could travel anywhere: “I just want to go somewhere in Europe because I’m interested in other cultures.”

Lyons led the Olympians with 17 points, 13 rebounds and five blocked shots in a 62-38 win at Brownstown Central.

Her performance last week: “I thought we played really great team ball. Everyone was hitting shots, and I think we played a great game.”

Do you do anything special to prepare? “We usually listen to music on the bus, and we all eat mini M&Ms.”

Favorite drink: “Yellow Gatorade”

Favorite food: “Spaghetti”

Favorite book: “The Book Thief”

Favorite class: “Genetics”

Role model: “My older sister (Maddie Lyons)”

Best advice: “Play every game like it’s the last game you’ll ever play.”

Athletics goal: “We’re going to try to win our conference and win our sectional and go from there.”

If you could travel anywhere: “Australia, because it’s beautiful there.”
