About half of Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp.’s nearly 4,000 computers were disconnected from school networks, email and the internet after outages school officials called suspicious.

1992

A proposal to dismiss classes at Mount Healthy Elementary School early Wednesdays so that teachers could meet for staff and curriculum development was tabled by the school board after parents objected.

1967

Funds for adding a chapel to the new Frances Comfort Thomas Children’s Home were donated as a farewell gift to the community by Union Starch and Refining Co., which was leaving the city after being purchased by Miles Laboratories Inc.
