PAWTUCKET, R.I. — A Pawtucket man facing child pornography charges has been freed on bail.

The State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, along with Pawtucket police, executed an arrest warrant Wednesday at the apartment of 49-year-old Francis Lamarre.

Officers took Lamarre into custody and charged him with a count of transfer of child pornography and another count of possession of child pornography.

Lamarre is free on $5,000 personal recognizance.

It was not clear of he had a lawyer and a home number could not immediately be located.
