Deborah L. Winters, 64, of West State Road 46, went to be with the Lord at 9:15 a.m. November 22, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Deborah was born January 23, 1953, in Toronto, Ohio, the daughter of Frank and Charlotte McGrath Leasure.
She married Leon Winters February 14, 1997.
She graduated from Columbus High School in 1971 and attended both Ball State and Indiana Universities.
She was employed for 22 years with U.S. Airways and was a 14-year member of Westside Community Church.
Deborah enjoyed water skiing, cross stitching, knitting and singing, and loved spending time with her family.
For 15 years Deborah had dialysis treatments, and she always went with a smile.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Westside Community Church with the Rev. Dennis Aud officiating. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Memorials may be made directly to the Westside Community Church.
Survivors include her husband, Leon; daughter, Amanda (Steven Doan) Doles; sister, Karen (Dean) Layman; grandchildren, Emma, Charlotte and Marleigh; nephews, Spencer Layman and Cameron Layman; and one niece, Ashley (Corbin) Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
