Bryan D. Fox

Bryan David Fox, 54, died Friday, December 1, 2017 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana inpatient facility. Bryan was born April 24, 1963 in Columbus, Indiana to Norman D. and Edwina C. (Blumer) Fox.

He graduated from Columbus East High School in 1981 and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Drafting from Ivy Tech Community College. Bryan worked for Janssen and Spaans as a Computer Draftsman. He was well liked by his coworkers and will be deeply missed.

Bryan loved watching NASCAR, drawing artwork, and was a member of the Train Club in Columbus. He enjoyed spending time at the airport to watch the planes take off and land.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edwina, and his paternal grandparents, Francis and Dorothy Fox, and maternal grandparents, Howard and Nelly Blumer.

Survivors include his father, Norman Fox of Columbus; two sisters, Barbara Kyle of Columbus and Karen (Larry) Beckemeyer of Indianapolis. He is also survived by five nephews, Bryce (Sandra) Kyle of Seymour, Bradley (Courtney) Kyle of Greenwood, Brick Kyle of Bloomington, Mathew Fox and Joshua Beckemeyer, both of Indianapolis; a great-nephew and great-niece, Shane and Hailey Kyle.

Funeral Service for Bryan will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 1 pm at Myers-Reed Chapel in Columbus with Rev. Dan Cash officiating. Burial will follow at Garland Brook cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 am to service time the day of the funeral.

Memorials in Bryan’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Myers-Reed Chapel is serving the Fox family.
